One of Tenderly’s core values is transparency, which in this context means that all salaries in Tenderly are visible to every team member. Our main motivation for this is our belief that work should be compensated equally based on market conditions, role, and skill level—not on a candidate’s ability to negotiate.

This, in turn, helps us scale our hiring processes. Simply put, we know that we cannot hire person Y at a higher salary than person X if everyone involved in the hiring process agrees that person Y has the same skillset as person X.

For candidates, this means you receive all available levels for your role upfront (after the introductory call) and have the opportunity to evaluate how these align with your expectations before we move further into the process.
